We are going to the American Museum of Natural History the following day, Sunday 5/4 to protest the fact that they do not educate their visitors adequately about the 6th mass extinction and our climate crisis. We have discovered that their board members largely earn megabucks from the fossil fuel industry and we are educating people at the museum through song, speech and other creative ways about this corruption as we demand that the museum declare a climate emergency. This community event will be in prep for Sunday's action. We will go through the action and sing our songs, practice speaking out, play with musical instruments and make decorative swag. Bring food and good cheer, or climate grief and political angst. it's up to you! Also food, pot luck snacks. Please bring to share. Join the creative hive, we are usually good for a laugh or two.
