On the heels of "Good Trouble Lives On," we celebrate John Lewis' legacy and wisdom by engaging in non-violent civil disobedience training. Our government is destroying our democracy, shredding our rights and burning any chance of environmental survival. We need to fight back and CD is the tool for people power. John Lewis said, "Don't get lost in a sea of despair...Our struggle is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble." Now is our time to gather our strength and turn out in the streets with knowledge, experience and strength.

Join us and our staff, with dozens of arrests under our belts, as we share stories and processes for conducting successful activism on the streets. We will act out actions and go through the do's and don'ts of creating a successful non-violent direct action. There are roles for everyone. For every person arrested, there are 10 behind the scenes. We will role play and talk about future actions.
