Join the hundred plus people already trained in non violent direct action to address climate change with Extinction Rebellion New York City. We are holding another introduction to non-violent direct action--both theory and practice.
We will provide a briefing about Extinction Rebellion and our campaign to address the climate emergency, which began in January with our act of civil disobedience at Rockefeller Center and on 5th Ave.
We will show you how you can join our next action to demand solutions to the climate emergency. If you want to take part in our coordinated civil disobedience please attend one of the trainings even if you don’t plan to risk arrest.
The ticket price is to cover the cost of space and trainer. If $10 is a hardship for any reason whatsoever, a free ticket plus a metrocard ride is available if you email ccxrnyc@gmail.com.
