In a city of 8.5 million people, we intend to use every opportunity to increase awareness about Climate Emergency & encourage NYC’s citizens to become upstanders with Extinction Rebellion.
This training will teach you how to confidently write and share abbreviated but, important info about this climate crisis, and about XR, on subways and in “pop up” public spaces, how to project your voice and improv skills to capture attention. A team of seasoned activists will be leading this exciting training with the possibility of putting our training to the test on a subway as a group.
Even if you don't want to talk, you are most welcome. We need people to go out in pairs and support each other in this important work.
You should have gone through a Heading for Extinction Talk & Welcome Call before doing this training.
