JPMorgan Chase is the worst bank when it comes to investing in climate-killing fossil-fuel projects. In the seven years since the Paris Climate Agreement was signed, Chase has invested $382 billion in an industry that's literally cooking the planet. WE SAY NO MORE!
Along with our friends from XRNYC, Stop the Money Pipeline, 350NYC and many others, this Valentine's Day we'll deliver a letter to Chase CEO Jamie Dimon demanding an immediate end to all new fossil-fuel investing, and that Chase redirect its investments to renewable sources of energy. That would be a true Valentine to the planet and its children!
And those of us who are Chase customers will also tell Mr. Dimon that if his announcement is not made by March 21, we'll be back then to CLOSE our Chase accounts.
