This week, we are featuring our friend and collaborator Karen, who will teach us about the practice of 'Lamentors', a type of street theatre performance, that is used globally in the movement to call attention to the Climate Crisis and other social justice community concerns. The perform at actions to call attention to those harmed/killed by environmental injustice, and ecocide.

If you are looking for a visual way to demonstrate the impact of the climate crisis, come and learn about the art of “lamenting.” Lamenters can add a powerful visual component to your climate activities. This form of silent protest can be extremely effective as participants bear witness to the fear, grief and anxiety caused by climate chaos.
