Announcing Extinction Rebellion NYC "Hybrid Actions"
Announcing the launch of “Hybrid Actions”! As people stay home and city streets are empty, the internet is the most visible public space for activism. Hybrid Actions use the empty city as a canvas for powerful messages. XR NYC has created a toolkit so that any affinity group, neighborhood group, or XR chapter can create their own hybrid action. Follow the instructions in the toolkit to make a banner, find a location, photograph yourself and a friend holding the banner, then post to social media using the action hashtags! (Please be safe while taking your photos and follow public health guidelines.)
