To design and produce creative actions
To build a network of artists, performers and creatives to join the movement
To ensure the rebellion is colorful and beautiful
Finance
Ensure that XR has sufficient finances to support the movement and collective actions therein and that finances are dealt with in a transparent and accountable fashion.

To collate, organize, and distribute data to and from our neighborhood, affinity and working groups required in order to support their mandates.
To research, maintain, and support technology required for communication, security, organization, and storage.
To verify and maintain best practices for digital security.

To work out key framings, arguments.
To create and carry out a media plan coordinated with the action and logistics group.
To create, maintain, and publicize central repositories for: - media coverage & XR member photos of actions, etc.
To collect viewer demographics and react appropriately
Outreach
To grow XR membership and alliances
To integrate new XR members into the movement
To build and maintain a strong community within XR
Political Strategy
To organise a Negotiating Team to speak to the authorities/government if and when an opportunity opens to us, where the Negotiating Team cannot include members of the Stewardship & Strategy Teams
To convene an advisory team of people with policy experience
To take advice and network with others in the radical movements about how to proceed
To take advice and network with people in the political class/sphere who can talk, including talking behind the scenes, to people in the government / political parties, on our behalf.
On the basis of the feedback from all the above four groups, to make specific proposals to the Strategy Team on endgame scenarios

To create a more beautiful, resilient, and sustainable world. We seek to do this by fostering an environment within Extinction Rebellion that allows our members to learn and lead, change and grow, heal and transform as well as, infusing actions and processes of the entire movement with holistic practices.
Self-Organizing Systems
Gather feedback, evaluate and make recommendations for the circle structure and constitution of XR NYC.
Equip people to use XR’s self-organizing systems through training, publishing resources, direct support to teams as needed
Support people to notice the difference between organizational tensions and personal tensions and process them using the relevant pathways
Choose and structure IT platforms for communication and document management and maintain public record of the circle structure, circle mandates and contact info.
