Extinction Rebellion Festival: 4 Days of Art, Music, and Teach-Ins for Earth (Crisis) Day

On Earth (Crisis) Day, we’ll gather in Washington Square Park from 3- 8 PM to celebrate the earth and explore solutions to the climate crisis through art, music, and teach-ins. On this day, we’ll gather for a special Social Gathering from 5 - 8 PM. We’ll also be partnering with Washington Square Park Mutual Aid so please bring new or gently used clothing and personal hygiene items to donate to the community.

Come be in community with fellow rebels and our allies to learn, dance, and create together as we imagine the future we want. Schedule for Day 4 includes:

  • 3 - 3:30 PM: Meditation by World Yoga Center

  • 4 - 5 PM: Presentation by the campaign by South Bronx Unite for climate justice

  • 4 - 5 PM: Yoga by by World Yoga Center - bring a mat and dress comfortably

  • 5 PM - 8 PM: Earth (Crisis) Day Social Gathering! There will be food, music, an open mic, and more as we mark Earth (Crisis) Day with music, love, and solidarity.

  • 5 - 6 PM: Open Mic - bring your poems, your music, or whatever you’d like to share!

  • 6 - 8 PM: Music, food, and mutual aid resource collection. Please bring new or gently used clothing and personal hygiene items to be distributed in partnership with Washington Square Park Mutual Aid.

  • Plus art activities, food, and more!

We’ll be in Washington Square Park from 3 - 8 PM. Rain location: Barrow’s Pub (463 Hudson St). When you arrive, come to Home Base for the schedule and event locations. Map:
